Sweet Orange Country Style Ribs

There are a million ways to cook pork country style ribs, Since this is such an inexpensive cut of meat I usually have a couple of packages in my freezer. I decided to try something a little different this time. I had oranges leftover from Thanksgiving and we FINALLY reached turkey burnout, so it was time to pull out the pork!
Have you ever used a mortar and pestle? I used one for this recipe and you won't believe how easy it is!

I start by adding the garlic cloves, orange zest and salt into the bowl of the mortar. You then take the pestle and start crushing everything together. It does take a bit of elbow grease but if I can do it then anyone can! One minute of elbow grease and look at what you have!

1 1/2 LBS Pork Country Style Ribs
1 Orange, Zested and Juiced
4 Garlic Cloves
1 TBSP Kosher Salt
2 TBSP Honey

In bowl of mortar crush salt, garlic and orange zest.

Rub mixture over pork ribs and place into slowcooker. Pour orange juice and honey over the pork. Cover and cook for 4 hours.
