Last night I used the Pickled Ginger in a Bahn Mi. Bahn Mi is a Vietnamese sandwich that is traditionally made with pickled daikon radish. I substituted pickled ginger for the pickled daikon and thought it was fantastic!
1/2 C Rice Wine Vinegar
1 TSP Granulated Garlic
1 TBSP Pickled Ginger
1 TSP Cilantro, Chopped
Mix marinade ingredients in a zipper bag and add meat (I used 4 bottom round steaks). Marinate for at least 4 hours.
Slice meat and saute in frying pan with a little oil.
Assemble your sandwich toppings.
I used pickled ginger, radish, green onion, cucumber, carrot and fresh cilantro.
Assemble your sandwich, I used a gluten free baguette but you can use whatever roll or bread you like!
