Sparkling Raspberry Limoncello

I received product in exchange for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I know that Champagne is THE traditional New Year's drink but I want something different this year. I love lemon, I love raspberries and I love sparkling wine. I thought, why not put them all together! In did and it's a delicious combination.

Gluten Free Breakfast Pizza

Breakfast Pizza Gluten Free

Years ago, when I worked for our local cable company, we had a breakfast club within the company. A few of us got together each Friday for breakfast. If it was one of the guy's turn, then they picked up breakfast burritos from Taco John's. The girls cooked! One of my favorite things to make is Breakfast Pizza. It's a family favorite as well.

Marinated Flat Iron Steaks

Marinated-Flat-Iron-Steaks

Being on a limited income means I have become very frugal when it comes to buying meat. I want the most bang for my buck. This means it either has to be VERY inexpensive for one meal or else provide my family with more than one meal. If you've been reading my blog for a while then you already know that I love the clearance meat aisle and visit it in every store I go to. We had to do a Walmart run the over day and I found packages of two Flat Iron Steaks for under $5.00. SCORE!

The Gift of Amazon

This post contains affiliate links

Amazon is my go to store. I purchase a lot from Amazon. We are talking gluten free foods that are not available in my local stores, kitchen organization, bathroom organization, purses, books, music and movies. I am an Amazon addict. Because of my addiction I became an Amazon Prime member. There are tons of perks to being an Amazon Prime member. Free 2 day shipping, unlimited streaming of over a million songs, instantly watch over 40,000 movies and TV episodes, and my personal favorite, read Kindle books for free! All of this pays for itself before you can say, Bob's your uncle! So give yourself the gift of Amazon Prime this year. You won't regret it!

As you already know, I love food! I also love cookbooks. I look at recipes as a suggestion. I will follow the recipe the first time I use it and after that I add or remove ingredients to suit my and my family's tastes.

Have you ever used a mortar and pestle? Think of it as the world's first food processor! I use mine to crush herbs and spices, to make a pesto or to crush garlic with salt and other seasonings to make a delicious paste. Check out my recipe for Sweet Orange Country Style Ribs!

Sweet Orange Country Style Ribs

There are a million ways to cook pork country style ribs, Since this is such an inexpensive cut of meat I usually have a couple of packages in my freezer. I decided to try something a little different this time. I had oranges leftover from Thanksgiving and we FINALLY reached turkey burnout, so it was time to pull out the pork!
