As you already know, I love food! I also love cookbooks. I look at recipes as a suggestion. I will follow the recipe the first time I use it and after that I add or remove ingredients to suit my and my family's tastes.

I was introduced to some wonderful cookbooks this year and I would love to share them with you. Maybe they will make it onto your wishlist or might be a great gift for the foodie in your life!

If you are a Downton Abbey fan you will love The Unofficial Downton Abbey Cookbook. It's full of recipes inspired by the show. Not a fan of the show? If you are into historical cooking you too will love this wonderful book!

I have been following Nicole Hunn's Blog, Gluten Free on a Shoestring for years now. I am a huge fan of hers and love her cookbooks as well. But my favorite cookbook by Nicole is Gluten Free on a Shoestring Bakes Bread. With Nicole's recipes all things that were previously off limits on a gluten free diet are now possible. This is a book that gives hope AND delicious recipes!
Are you and your kids fans of cake pops? Then The Art of Cake Pops is for you. This book breaks it down into easy to follow instructions and great recipes. It may take a little practice to make some of the cute cake pop designs but with this books all is possible!
One of my kid's favorite thing to eat was tacos. I could present anything in taco form and they would gobble it right up. That's the premise of Taco Revolution. New and innovative ways to serve tacos to your family!
I am a huge fan of fancy desserts, cakes and pastries. I am envious of those who are able to make these delicious creations. Austrian Desserts reveals the secrets behind these delicacies. Perfect for the baker in your life!
