Years ago, when I worked for our local cable company, we had a breakfast club within the company. A few of us got together each Friday for breakfast. If it was one of the guy's turn, then they picked up breakfast burritos from Taco John's. The girls cooked! One of my favorite things to make is Breakfast Pizza. It's a family favorite as well.
When I make breakfast pizza I usually use softened cream cheese but guess who was out of cream cheese this time? LOL! Yes, it was me. BUT... I did have leftover chicken gravy from the night before so I thought, why not! It was delicious! The gravy soaked into the dough while it cooked. It was so savory and yummy. I think I might make it this way from now on. If you're out of gravy you can substitute 1- 8 oz package of softened cream cheese.
Now, let's talk about dough. I use Gluten Free Chebe Garlic & Onion Bread Sticks Mix. This mix is so versatile and I use it for many things. It makes a great pizza dough that's good for breakfast, lunch or dinner! If you are not gluten free, just use your favorite pizza dough.
2 Pkgs Chebe Garlic & Onion Bread Sticks Mix (or your favorite pizza dough)
1 C Chicken Gravy or 1- 8 oz Pkg Cream Cheese
6 Bacon Slices, Cooked and Crumbled
5 Eggs, Scrambled
1/2 C Grated Parmesan
2 C Shredded Sharp Cheddar
1 C Shredded Mozzarella
Follow package directions to prepare dough of your choice.
Roll dough out to fit a large cookie sheet.
Ladle gravy over dough (or spread cream cheese).
Cover pizza with remaining ingredients. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.
