Cranberry & Black Rice Pilaf

Cranberry & Black Rice Pilaf

I had some fresh cranberries leftover from Thanksgiving and I have been trying to decide what to do with them. I am a huge fan of the sweet and savory combination and decided to do this delicious Cranberry & Black Rice Pilaf.


1 Cup long grain White Rice
1/2 Cup Black Rice
1/2 Red Onion, Diced
1 Cup whole Cranberries
1 Orange, Zested and Juiced
1 TSP Kosher Salt
1 TSP Granulated Garlic
1 Cup Chicken Broth (Substitute vegetable broth for a vegetarian dish)
2 Cups Water

Combine all ingredients in Rice Cooker and follow manufacturers directions. Serve and enjoy!
