Gardening My Way #DigIn

#DigIn

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Home Depot.

This picture was taken early this spring. As you can see I have mostly rocks but there are plants interspersed throughout. I was so excited to find out what was already growing and now I need to decide what I want to add to it.

It turns out that I have some yellow Day Lillies and this is the first bloom! I love lillies of all kinds and I have been enjoying watching these grow.

I also have Lillies of the Valley which has been on of my favorites since I was a little girl (and we all know how long ago that was!).

As much as I love flowers I want to grow something edible as well. So I planted some herbs that will grow well indoors as well as out. This pot has Thyme, Garlic Chives, Cilantro and Oregano. You can see that the plants are just starting to poke through the soil. In the backyard I planted some Catnip for Molly and some lettuce. I have large planters that I am going to use for tomatoes, peppers and beans. I am so excited!

I found out that Home Depot sells many things for my garden from plants and seeds to planters and tools. Home Depot also has a Garden Club website that gives me ideas on what to plant, what's on sale, how to plant, how to make the most of my space and so much more. In addition to the Garden Club there is also a Garden Club Community Forum that allows you to ask an expert any of your gardening questions. I plan on taking full advantage of the expert!

Have you planted a garden or done any landscaping this year? What have you been planting. Have any advice for a novice gardener (with a black thumb) like me? ;)
