The snowstorm began last week very gently. There were warnings in effect saying that we could get anywhere between 10-25 inches.
The snow piled up quickly. It was snowing 2 to 4 inches an hour and with 40 MPH sustained winds the drifts began to grow.
And grow! We ended up with drifts that were 8 to 10 feet high and extended from one side of the street to the other. The snow total in my neighborhood was 28 inches. With hopes of Spring, my daughter began shoveling us out and helping the neighbors as well.
Here we are 7 days later and it's snowing again! Once again we shovel out and dream of Spring. At least there is no wind with this one and they are only forecasting 10 inches.
