Review: Parental Guidance

Parental Guidance DVD

Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei prove that laughter is relative in this hilarious comedy that’s fun for the whole family!
Old-school grandparents Artie (Crystal) and Diane (Midler) get more than they bargained for when they get stuck babysitting their type-A daughter’s (Tomei) overprotected kids. But things go from hectic to hysterical when Artie realizes the kids are running the house with their newfangled technology. By playing by his own rules, which include sugary snacks, old fashioned games and tough love, Artie manages to outsmart the kids and achieve the impossible- bring the family closer together!

My Thoughts: Ryan and I watched the movie together. We had a blast with this movie. Anytime you have Billy Crystal and Bette Midler you know that you are going to have a good time and Parental Guidance does not disappoint. While the movie is very funny, it is also sweet and touching. Parental Guidance is about family and as weird and crazy and annoying as our families may be, they are all that we have. Parental Guidance is rated PG, but any age can safely watch this movie and enjoy it.

Purchase Parental Guidance on Blu-ray it will be a movie that you will watch again and again. Don't forget the popcorn!
