Prepping for the Big Game

Game Day Bacon & Onion Dip

I have a confession to make. Ryan and I don't actually watch the Big Game. We watch the Puppy Bowl and then flip back and forth between the Puppy Bowl and the Big Game. We love watching the creativity of the new commercials and the half time fun. No matter what we are watching food plays a big part of the day and shopping for the best deals is just part of the fun.

I have been shopping at Walgreens for almost 40 years. They always have great prices, great deals and great coupons. Sometimes I find that I am there 2 or 3 times a week!

Walgreens Mobile App

One of the first things I do on Sunday morning is check the Walgreens Mobile App for the Weekly Ad.

Walgreens Mobile App

This week's ad has awesome savings on snacks for the Big Game. In addition to the savings there were opportunities to earn points for the Balance Rewards program. I love the Balance Rewards program. I earn points and then use those points on a future purchase.

Walgreens Balance Rewards Savings

This week using the great sales, Balance Rewards points and coupon matchups I saved over $25.00! I am pretty proud of myself! I chose to celebrate by making this great dip as a trial run for the Big Game!

Game Day Bacon & Onion Dip Printable Recipe Card
