Once in a while my co-workers and I would order lunch for delivery from a local restaurant. One of my favorite items on their menu is the Spinach Salad, but it's expensive! $8.29 for one salad! That is a lot of money. Now that I no longer work a traditional job, my budget no longer allows for something so extravagant. But I still love salad for lunch...
My daughter Ryan works 11 hour shifts on the weekends so that leaves me on my own for meals. I have reached a point in my life where I want something delicious and easy. We ran over to Walmart to pick up a few things and while we were there I found a new addition to the Lean Cuisine line up.
Lean Cuisine Salad Additions has four options; Asian-Style Chicken Salad, Bistro Chicken Salad, Cranberry & Chicken Salad and Southwest-Style Chicken Salad. I decided to try the Bistro Chicken Salad because it has two of my favorite things, asparagus and crispy onions.
All you need to add is lettuce and the rest is there for you. Lightly steam the veggie packet in the microwave and then top with the delicious bacon vinaigrette and crispy onions. This salad was fresh tasting, and very filling, not to mention also affordable. Bye bye, restaurant salads! I can't wait to try the others!
Download a coupon and give them a try then come back and tell me how much you love them!
