Guiltless Gourmet offers delicious baked chips and dips that taste great but are better for you than regular chips and dips. Now Guiltless Gourmet has a new offering, Crunches. Crunches are available in three flavors, Toasted Almond Crunch, Berries & Cherries Nut Crunch and Roasted Cashew Crunch.
I got to try the Roasted Cashew Crunch and I have to say this is some good stuff! It is sweet (but not too sweet) and salty and crunchy and yummy! A serving size is 6 pieces and each serving has 4 grams of protein! I like a snack that packs some protein! Crunches are Kosher for Passover and year round. If your grocer doesn't carry them, ask them to order!
Guiltless Gourmet would like to give TWO of my readers the chance to win TWO bags of their new Crunches!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.
The NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association) is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists and others dedicated to expanding opportunities for people with disabilities to drive or be transported in vehicles that have been modified with mobility equipment.
NMEDA does not sell anything. What they do is provide accountability. There are more than 600 members and all members are required to adhere to the safety standards that have been established by The National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration as well as follow guidelines that have been set by NMEDA.
The NMEDA also offers a Quality Assurance Program (QAP). QAP is a recognized accreditation program for the mobility equipment industry. The program was developed to promote quality, safety, and reliability within the industry. Some states are now requiring mobility dealers to participate in QAP.
What does all of this mean? I have severe arthritis in my spine. This is causing numbness in my lower legs. My doctor has told me that I will be in a wheelchair within the next few years. I will then need to adapt my car with equipment that will allow me to continue driving. Using the NMEDA site allows me to locate a reputable dealer in my area that can help me do this. I can go to my local QAP accredited dealer and they can do a personal evaluation to help me find the equipment that is right for me. I plan on driving for a long time!
Never purchase mobility equipment off of the internet. You don't know what you are getting or if that equipment is what you really need. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and go to the NMEDA site and find a dealer near you.

This is my Kidlandia Kreechur. He lives 30 to 40 years and eats mosquitoes, nuts and berries! Flapper is just one of the many cute Kreechurs available to play with on Kidlandia.com.
A little about Kidlandia:
Your Kreechur comes with a code that unlocks a treasure in the world of Kidlandia. You and your child can build the land and play games together. I found it to be to be a lot of fun. They even have their own version of Angry Birds! I love that I have a little Kreechur that I can play with off line as well as online!Kidlandia provides kids and families a way to imagine, create, and rule their own world in a safe and educational environment. Kidlandia combines our own lovable Kreechurs with a proprietary personalization platform that allow Kids to RULE wherever they like to play.Whether a child wants an online game, a mobile app, a plush doll, or a printed Kingdom on their wall, Kidlandia has a solution. This unique model fulfills a child's powerful need to feel a measure of control over the world around them, and fulfills a parent’s need to provide a fun and educational experience that empowers their child without putting them at risk.Founded in 2008 by entrepreneur and artist Brian Backus, Kidlandia grew out of Brian’s concept to create personalized maps of fanciful kingdoms for children’s rooms. He believed that, by providing children with their own kingdoms with friendly monsters as companions, kids would gain an increased sense of confidence, control and self-worth. Today, Kidlandia offers more than 100 products to choose from and personalize including a rich online game, mobile apps, and products like posters, blankets, and more. Kidlandia is comprised of a talented team of engineers, designers and business professionals. The Kidlandia Kids and Kreechurs Foundation will support the passion of bringing delight and meaning to the lives of children and families by donating 2.5% of founding stock to charitable organizations benefiting children.SafetyYour child’s safety is extremely important to us. We offer some restricted social networking features on Kidlandia and we take these features very seriously. Here is what we do:
- After we receive a request from you or your child to register, we send you an email asking for your consent. If you give your consent, your child will be able to invite friends to his or her Kingdom (only after you give your consent for each child invited), and communicate with friends and family in their network through features like the "Messages Window". Of the messages in the Message Window, only the last message that has been received is visible to the child.
- If your child asks to invite another friend to their Kingdom, we send you an email asking you to approve it, and we send the invitee’s parent an email and ask them to approve it. If either party does not give consent after a reasonable amount of time, we delete the invitation request. We have a Parent Dashboard where you can see the children that are associated with your account. To access the Parent Dashboard, please refer back to the email that was sent to you as part of the account creation. Your username is your email address. Your password was part of that original email. If you cannot find your password, fear not, you can reset it and have a new one sent to you.

When I was a teenager I would go to a restaurant called La Majada and order one dish and one dish only, Arroz Con Pollo. Their version was so full of flavor that I did not want to try anything else! Over the years I have tried to duplicate this dish but could never come close to the flavor that I once had at this restaurant. A few weeks ago I found out about a company called Nueva Cocina. Nueva Cocina is the nation's first line of all natural, authentic and contemporary Latin rice dishes, seasonings and soups. The best part is most of their products are gluten free!
The Arroz Con Pollo is fantastic! The flavors just pop and I can't wait to get more! The price is very reasonable, only $4.98 for two boxes. I garnished with some chopped green onion, cilantro and a squeeze of lime. I could go on and on telling you how great I think this is, but I won't. I will tell you that if you are looking for a great rice dish, then you should definitely give this one a try!

Your heart breaks when your child is sick. Even when they just have a runny nose. But when it’s something worse and you don’t know if they’ll get better, how do you cope? How do you help them cope?
When your local doctor sends you to the Children’s Hospital, you fear the worst. Now it’s not just a runny nose, a virus or something that an antibiotic can make better. We’re facing the unknown. What will they find…cancer? Will she be OK? Of course all of these questions went through our head. She’s our baby.
My daughter’s journey started 4 years ago right around her 3rd birthday. She had been running high fevers and high white blood count. But the local doctor couldn’t find anything to explain it. So we were sent to the Children’s Hospital an hour and a half away. We saw every specialist in the hospital and they did every test under the sun, poking and prodding but came up empty handed. No cancer diagnosis so we thanked God for that!

When I first Heard about Oogave Natural Sodas I knew I HAD to try them. Because of the colitis I have problems staying properly hydrated so I stopped drinking soda. Regular sodas are not healthy, they are mostly un-natural chemical beverages. Oogave is made from natural ingredients and sweetened with Agave Syrup and they are good!
There are currently 8 flavors but I heard a rumor that they are coming out with one more! Strawberry-Rhubarb, Vanilla Cream, Watermelon Cream, Cola, Ginger Ale, Grapefruit, Mandarin-Key Lime, and Root Beer. All of the flavors are wonderful, but my personal favorite was the Watermelon Cream. Ryan's favorite is the Root Beer.
The very generous people at Oogave want to give one of my readers a chance to sample all of their delicious sodas.
What do you do when you are short on cash and need a little help? I have pawned items that I no longer use. Not a really great return but it is definitely a quick fix!
Garage Sales are great for selling items that you no longer need. Of course there is no immediate gratification for a garage sale. They take quite a bit of planning and promoting but I once raised $1800.00 from a garage sale. They sure can be profitable!
A few years ago I was very short for bills so I did a title loan. The interest rate was horrendous and I ended up borrowing the money from Ryan so I could pay it off.
I know that payday loans are pretty popular. I have never done one myself and now that I am no longer working I would not qualify for one. But I live across the street from a place that does payday loans!
Tell me, what do you do when you need quick cash?

In My Secret Acne Weapons Reviewed – Part 1 I realized, I mostly talked about the acne weapons that haven’t helped me in fighting the battle.
Now here are the two weapons that have worked wonderfully for me. Why theses things worked and why the others with the similar compositions and properties didn’t work, I have no clue. It might be the fact that ultimately acne is a medical condition rather than a cosmetic one, so the pharmaceutical grade products that treat the acne to its root make more sense over the cosmetically prepared products. Now don’t forget that there are other factors to consider when it comes to the root cause of acne, they are diet, age, hormones, hygiene, genetics etc. But it takes a long time to figure out what exactly might be causing your acne and meanwhile you DO need something that can treat the current break outs right then and there.

Director: Tim Burton
Producers: Tim Burton, Allison Abbate
Executive Producer: Don Hahn
Screenplay by: John August
Based on an original idea by: Tim Burton
From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
A stop-motion animated film, “Frankenweenie” will be filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience.
In Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie” young Victor conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences.
• When Tim Burton originally conceived the idea for “Frankenweenie,” he envisioned it as a full-length, stop-motion animated film. Due to budget constraints, he instead directed it as a live-action short, released in 1984.
• “Frankenweenie” follows in the footsteps of Tim Burton’s other stop-motion animated films “Corpse Bride” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”—both of which were nominated for Academy Awards®.
• Over 200 puppets and sets were created for the film.
• The voice cast includes four actors who worked with Burton on previous films: Winona Ryder (“Beetlejuice,” “Edward Scissorhands”), Catherine O’Hara (“Beetlejuice,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas”), Martin Short (“Mars Attacks!”) and Martin Landau (“Ed Wood,” Sleepy Hollow”).
• Several of the character names—Victor, Elsa Van Helsing, Edgar “E” Gore and Mr. Burgemeister— were inspired by classic horror films.
