World AIDS Day 2012

World AIDs Day 2012

More than 25 million people have died from AIDS since 1981. There are approximately 33 million people currently living with AIDS worldwide and 3.4 million of these people are children.
I have had the honor of caring for some of these people at a time when some of my co-workers were afraid to step into an AIDS patient's hospital room. We have learned a lot about AIDS since those early days. More people are living with it than dying from it but we don't have a cure yet.

AIDS is 100% preventable. You can help with AIDS prevention by making a donation to A Mother's Fight. Your donation will help with education and access to medical care. Any donation helps. How can you argue with 3.4 million sick children?
