We have had bitter cold in South Dakota lately. Nothing warms me up better than a mug of hot chocolate. I wanted to change things up a little so I made a cup of Hot White Chocolate. Then to make it even yummier I made a Chocolate Marshmallow whipped cream that I so delicious you will want to eat it from the bowl!
Hot White Chocolate
2 C Milk (I used lactose free)
1 TSP Vanilla
1/2 Bag White Chocolate Chips
Chocolate Marshmallow Whipped Cream
1 Pt Heavy Cream
1 TBSP Vanilla
Combine milk and vanilla in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer over low heat. While milk is heating prepare whipped cream. Place heavy cream in a bowl and begin whipping with mixer on high speed. Once cream begins to thicken add vanilla and whip for 30 seconds. Add Chocolate Marshmallow Popcorn Seasoning one tablespoon at a time beating after each addition. Whipped cream is finished once it forms peaks. Milk should now be simmering. Add white chocolate chips and whisk until melted. Pour Hot White Chocolate into mug and top with Chocolate Marshmallow Whipped Cream.
