On Thursday we gave thanks for all we had. We are thankful for the bounty of goodness on our Thanksgiving tables. We are thankful for our loving families, good health, having a roof over our heads, good friends, good jobs, etc...
On Friday the official holiday sales began. Madness started at 8 PM and people were bowling each other over to get the hot items on sale.
Monday the terrific online sales will hit the internet. Shopping in the comfort of your own home with your credit cards lined up next to your keyboard, drink of choice and maybe a snack. Something festive on the TV.
This Tuesday, let's do something a little different. Let's make this Tuesday a #GivingTuesday. Donate some toys to Toys for Tots. Donate some food to your local food bank. Call your homeless shelter and find out what they most need. Buy some books for the children in your local Headstart program. Give some food, toys and kitty litter to your local animal shelter. There is so much you can do to make a difference in someone's life. Let's do it this Tuesday.
Let's show our community how thankful we really are for all that we have and pay some of it forward to someone in need.
