The Juiciest Turkey Ever!

The Juiciest Turkey EVER!

Ryan and I went to our friends, Tara and Eddie's house yesterday. Eddie and I did the cooking together and we came up with the juiciest most flavorful turkey that I have EVER had. This was one delicious bird. So of course I had to share it with you! And remember, I don't eat like this everyday. A little extra bacon fat is ok!


1 Turkey (whatever size you like)
4 TBSP Bacon Fat
1 Stick of Butter, cubed
6 Lemons
1/2 Stick of Butter, melted
1/4 C Chicken Broth
1 TSP Kosher Salt
1 TSP Black Pepper
1 TSP Garlic Powder
1 TSP Sage
Old Bay Seasoning

Juice 2 lemons and mix together with melted butter and spices. Rub bacon fat all over turkey.  Slice lemons in half and stuff into turkey cavity. Using an injector, inject the lemon/butter mixture into turkey. Sprinkle turkey with the same spices. Roast in a 350 degree oven until internal temperature reaches 165. Remove turkey from oven, tent with foil and let rest 20 minutes.
