An SOS to the World. #SandyHelp

I am sure that everyone has heard about the freak storm that became Hurricane Sandy and created havoc on the East Coast. While New York and New Jersey were hit the hardest, people from Virginia to Maine were affected by the storm. Lives, homes and businesses have been lost. There are still thousands without power. I bet you are wondering what you can do to help. Well, I have a list for you. If you can only spare a dollar, that's cool. Every dollar helps someone in need.

If you reserved a room for the New York Marathon you can donate it to someone who needs a safe haven. Race to Recover NYC will help you donate your room.

Donate $10.00 to the Red Cross by texting RedCross to 90999. Don't have $10? No problem you can donate by going to the Red Cross Website or calling 1-800-435-7665.

The Salvation Army has mobilized feeding trucks to help out in the worst areas. You can donate here.

Feeding America is working to distribute food and water to those in need. You can donate on their website or by calling 1-800-910-5524.

Americares is donating medicine and other supplies. You can donate on their website.

WorldVision is providing flood clean-up kits, personal hygiene items and food to people affected. You can donate on their website.

Thanks for caring!
