Election Day Food Ideas

Election Day Food Ideas

Election day is a big day at my house. I went to vote with both of my children during the last Presidential election. That was a very proud day for me and I even started crying. I plan on voting with them this Tuesday as well. Whatever your political beliefs are, please go out and vote!

Tuesday will be a long day for me. I will be up at 7 to go vote with the kids and then watching the results as they come in. I am going to need to be fortified for my long day. So I thought a list of my fave recipes might help you out if you are in the same predicament!

This Mushroom Risotto looks SO delicious! I love Risotto. I find it comforting and filling.

You know what goes great with Risotto? Mini Meatloaves! Two comfort foods in one meal. They make a great snack as well.

How about some Mexican food? Gluten Free Chimichangas are a great way to use up leftover chicken and rice!

Chicken Enchiladas would go great with the Chimichangas! A nice satisfying meal.

Sliders make a great snack for grab 'n go! Check out these Buffalo Sliders.

Chinese food is up there in my food favorites list and I have a bunch of yummy recipes to share with you!

Spicy Orange Chicken, Gluten Free Pork Dumplings and Gluten Free Egg Rolls are just the ticket. Eat some now, eat a little more later!

What are your election day plans?
