Safeway Just For U #JuneDairyMovies

It has been so hot in South Dakota. It's been in the 90's all week. Definitely too hot to cook weather so we headed to Safeway to pick up some groceries. Safeway has a program called Just for U. The Just for U program allows you to add great discounts to your Safeway card. These deals have been picked Just for U based on your past purchase history. It's so easy to do! Just head on over to Safeway to sign up for a card if you don't have one already. The go to the Safeway website and start adding those deals to your card!

While I was browsing through the online sales ad I discovered some great deals on dairy products plus an added benefit, if you purchase $40 in participating dairy products you will receive a coupon for 2 tickets to see Ice Age 4! That sounds like the perfect deal for me! My daughter Ryan and I use a lot of dairy and we love the Ice Age movies!

We picked up cheese, cream cheese, yogurt and pudding. Too many good deals to pass up! Earlier in the day I was browsing the Martha Stewart website and I found a great recipe for No Bake Cheesecake. I was so happy that everything I needed was on sale! I decided to do my own twist to the recipe and made a No Bake Cheesecake Parfait.

2 8-ounce pkgs Cream Cheese

1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 Lemon, juiced and zested

1 TSP Vanilla

Chocolate Chip Cookies (we used gluten free)

Raspberries

Whipped Cream for topping

Beat Cream Cheese with mixer until smooth. Slowly add sweetened condensed milk until incorporated. Add Lemon juice, lemon zest and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

In bottom of glass crumble 3 chocolate chip cookies. Spoon some cheesecake over the cookies. Add a layer of Raspberries and another layer of cheesecake. Garnish with whipped cream, berries and more crumbled cookies. Serve right away and enjoy!
