Be Well, Save Well @Safeway #FloridaOJ

Cold and Flu season is upon us! I like to be prepared because you never know when a cold or the flu will hit. I went to Safeway to check out their new Be Well, Save Well pamphlet. Not only does it have great money saving coupons, it also contains some great tips to stay healthy during the cold and flu season.

The best way to prepare for cold and flu season is to eat healthy. Eat fresh fruits and veggies to help support your immune system. Try to stick with dark, leafy greens and yellow or orange vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes. Oranges are an excellent source of Vitamin C and bananas are a great way to add potassium to your diet.

I like to have an extra box of Kleenex, some Vaporub, cough drops and carmex on hand at all times. IF we get sick, we are ready! Ryan loves #FloridaOJ so we usually have a bottle in the fridge. Hot tea with honey and lemon is great for when you don't feel well.

Do you keep certain items on hand just in case you or someone in your family gets sick? What do you use?
