That's a Big 10-4!

semi truck Pictures, Images and Photos

I used to be married to a man who drives commercial trucks. He is one of the safest drivers I know. He is the only person that I know that can jack-knife a truck and receive a safety award for doing it. He saved quite a few lives that night. It was pretty icy out and a car in front of him spun out. The only way to save the passengers in that car was for him to wreck the truck. So that's what he did. I am pretty proud of him for that. Hey, we may be divorced but we have a child in common and we are still friends. He loves to look at the commercial trucks for sale. and when we were married we would spend some time doing that.

New or used commercial trucks are large pieces of equipment and everyone should follow some safety tips while driving.

  • Avoid getting into a truck's blind spot. Avoid driving right next to the trailer or right behind the trailer. Leave enough room between you and the truck so the driver can see you in his mirrors.
  • Trucks are not able to stop as quickly as a car. Avoid slamming on your brakes if you are driving in front of a truck.
Remember if you pay attention while driving and follow all traffic laws you won't have a problem while driving next to a commercial vehicle.

Be careful out there!

I am participating in a blogger campaign by Bucks2Blog about semi trucks for sale and was compensated for this post. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
