Review: Ecover Grapefruit and Green Tea Dishwashing Liquid

One of my goals for 2012 is to be more green. I want to remember to bring my reusable shopping bags when I go to the store. I want to recycle whenever possible. I want to reuse packaging instead of throwing it away. I want to use products that are not harmful to the environment. If they hurt the environment then chances are they are probably also harmful to me and my family.

I jumped at the chance to sample and review a product of my choice from Ecover. Ecover has Eco friendly cleaning products for every aspect of your life! Do you need to wash your car? I chose the dishwashing liquid since I am the chief cook and bottle washer in this household!

The last time that I tried a 'green' dishwashing liquid I was not impressed. This big name (which shall remain nameless) liquid was watery, not soapy, left a film on my dishes and made my hands feel rough.

I am happy to report that I am thrilled with Ecover! I love the scent, it is not overpowering but the combination of green tea and grapefruit tells you this is clean. The sudsing action was great. This is not a watery liquid and I actually used less soap than I normally do. The biggest thing for me is that it works great at cutting grease and my hands are left feeling nice!
