Beginnings #NaBloPoMo Day 4

When I think of starting something new I look at it with apprehension and excitement. Having been a long time sufferer of agoraphobia, each new thing brings panic with it. Panic that I have to talk myself down from. Fear can be exhausting and I think it is the exhaustion that keeps someone from putting themselves out there.

It's OK to feel the fear. It is not OK to let the fear overcome your new beginning. Since talking myself out of the house a few lifetimes ago, I have talked myself through living in another state. Started multiple new jobs. Stood up for my children, stood up for myself as well as advocated for others who had no voice.

Fear can make you stronger. Believe in yourself.

My fear - driving. That is why I have not a license yet, but I am learning.
