Tis the Season for Potlucks! #Gluten Free

Every place I have worked had potlucks. There was always some incredible food offered. Potlucks, in my opinion, work best when people actually cook something instead of picking up something from the store. Years ago, I had a coworker who made this incredible chicken cheesecake. I know, sounds a little weird but it was to die for and I would kill for the recipe if anyone has it!

Potlucks are a great way to have an inexpensive get together. I used to hold a yearly New Year's Day Brunch. It was definitely the best party of the year. I remember the groans the first year I held it. Nobody wanted to get up and go out on New Year's Day. By the end of that first party everyone was talking about what to bring next year.

If you are short on time, dips are a great potluck item.

Parmesan Bacon Ranch Spread (can be served hot or cold)
2 8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
1 C parmesan cheese
1 TBSP granulated garlic
1 TBSP dried parsley
1 TBSP dried onions
1 TBSP chives, chopped

Mix together all ingredients. Let sit in refrigerator for a couple of hours to let flavors meld. Serve with favorite crackers or bread.
