Macy's Recipe Share

Want a chance to win $1000.00 for your holiday recipe? Macy's has a recipe contest going on right now and you can enter!

My entry is a baked stuffed french toast. This will be the first year that I will attempt to make it gluten free. I haven't decided if I am going to bake my own cinnamon bread or buy pre-made. We shall see!

I serve this with frozen berries warmed in real maple syrup.

1 loaf cinnamon bread
2 8 oz pkgs cream cheese softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
8 eggs
2 cups milk or heavy cream

mix together cream cheese brown sugar and chocolate chips.

Make sandwiches using the cream cheese mixture and the cinnamon bread.

Beat eggs and ,milk/cream together.

Spray 10x13 pan with cooking spray.
Pour some of the egg mixture into the bottom of the pan. place sandwiches on top of the egg mixture and pour remaining egg mixture over sandwiches. Refrigerate over night.

In the morning let pan come to room temperature then place in 350 degree oven 45 minutes to an hour.

This sounds yummy! But then how could anything with chocolate chips taste bad?!
